Vintage Canon Snappy S Point and Shoot 35MM full auto cam *FOR PARTS OR REPAIR" Picture it: Sicily, 1985. You've made the jump from an old 110 to 35mm. An adult camera! But maybe you weren't quite an adult, or just weren't willing to deal with the learning curve of an SLR. That's ok; the good people of Canon had your back, with this point-and-shoot gem! Fully automatic, auto focus...these were cool. Sadly, this one does not work. Someone left some batteries in it way too long, and they corroded. I've tried to capture this corrosion in the photos; it is significant. Furthermore, the battery compartment itself has a broken latch. I imagine it was broken in an attempt to remove the corroded batteries, but who knows? All we know for sure is that this camera does not currently work, and because of the battery compartment issues we sadly can not test it, even if we did have some 35mm film laying around...which we do not. The Good News: maybe you can fix it? Maybe you need it for that one elusive part that you just can't find. Maybe you just want it for sentimental value. That's your business...but we would be very happy to help you out if this turns out to be something you just have to have. To be clear: non-working, untested - parts or repair only.
