In most cases, you will need to reuse your OEM plug, manifold, and sensors. This is because one compressor can fit numerous vehicles, for multiple years, with different plugs and manifolds used on same compressor. In most cases the connector / plug from original compressor will need to be spliced onto our compressor. Every compressor that needs this done will come with 14-16-gauge heat shrink butt splices. New bearings, seals, gaskets, tested coil with correct ohms, and lathed clutch assembly. We bench test these units to ensure they reach correct high and low pressure, we tank test these units to make sure they are sealed properly and do not leak, and we function test the clutch to make sure it has the proper air gap and functions correctly. Tested for noise, vibration, durability, vacuum decay, and pressure decay to ensure no leaks and LONGER LIFE! In order to qualify for the warranty, unit MUST be installed by certified AC Tech. Otherwise, the warranty shall be void. Proof of installation by a certified A/C technician will need to be provided by the buyer for warranty to apply. Follow all local, state and federal regulations when servicing mobile A/C systems and read this instruction sheet prior to starting any repairs. Oil charges and oil types should be closely adhered to for proper A/C performance. If you are uncertain of OIL CHARGE OR REFRIGERANT TOTAL SYSTEM CHARGE refer to the under-hood decal or, OEM service manual. USE ONLY R-12 OR R-134a REFRIGERANT . COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Remove compressor, receiver drier or accumulator, orifice tube or expansion valve. Flush the condenser and evaporator using NON-OIL BASED A/C flush. On expansion valve systems THE VALVE MUST BE REMOVED before the evaporator can be flushed. FLUSHED CONDENSERS FROM OUTLET TO INLET AND EVAPORATORS FROM INLET TO OUTLET. WARNING: NEWER STYLE CONDENSER DESIGNS ARE VERY HARD, ANDSOMETIME IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DO FLUSH, IN THOSE CASES IT IS SUGGESTED THAT IF THE COMPRESSOR HAS A MAJOR FAILURE THE CONDENSER SHOULD BE REPLACED. Proper type and amount of oil must be installed in the unit. All of our unit's ship with testing oil that needs to be drained and then replaced with proper oil and filled to Factory system specs. NOTE: If your compressor has a drain plug you will need to open it up and drain what oil is in there too. Install half oil charge into the compressor and the remainder throughout the system. Turn compressor shaft 8-10 full revolutions to ensure front seal and other internal parts are lubricated. Install new receiver drier or accumulator and new orifice tube or expansion valve. The system must be then evacuated for a minimum of one hour, to remove any and all moisture and leftover flush. After evacuation install half the refrigerant charge and let the system set for 1 minute. This will allow the refrigerant to pick up oil and spread more evenly throughout the system. Start engine with A/C controls on MAX AIR with door and windows open. Add the remaining charge of refrigerant as called for by the manufacture. In addition, the following will render thewarranty VOID : The compressor is returned locked up contaminated in any way. Altering the compressor in any way. Any physical damage to the compressor. RETURNS No Returns are Accepted without authorization and RMA #. Please contact us to obtain an RMA # through Pricetronic messages or phone call. The compressor must be returned with a copy of your Invoice or purchase order and certified mechanic's invoice. As we do incur a cost to ship your order to your door in the continental United States, if for any reason an incorrect order is placed, or you simply need to return a part because it is not needed, RETURN SHIPPING IS BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY . A 15% restocking fee will apply. Returns after 30 days are EXCHANGE ONLY and are not eligible for a refund. After the 30-day period any excepted RMA will be the buyer's responsibility of all shipping charges. All Units come with a one-time warranty replacement during specified warranty period. Absolutely no Labor is paid for any reason. Our warranty does not cover removal, installation, diagnostic and other contingent expenses, just the compressor.
