1970's Delco Remy Raised Letter Acrylic Plastic Sign Auto Parts Service This type of sign was often seen at GM manufacturing plants. This style started to be used about 1977. Large, nice condition sign. Measures about 33 inches tall, 32 1/2 inches wide. The sign is beveled, and measures about 2 1/2 inches deep. The sign plastic is about 1/4 inch thick. There are some marks, particularly in the white areas. The sign appears to be clear acrylic that was painted and powder coated on the inside. The blue and red areas are protected by the powder coating. The red area shows only minor variation in color. Some damage to the powder coating gives areas of irregularity in the white field, particularly around the edges. There is some water discoloration on the bottom edge, notably on the inside.
